Lynsey Isaacs MA, LMHCA, CDPT
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and a Chemical Dependency Professional Trainee (CDPT) in the state of Washington. My goal as a counselor is to work with you to create a meaningful and healthy life; free from being overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, past emotional abuse, trauma, or addiction. My hope is to guide you toward restoration of mind, body and spirit. I enjoy building on my clients strengths, while cultivating empowerment, healing past trauma, increasing personal awareness, and rebuilding self -worth.
During our sessions, I will provide you with skills to overcome unwanted behaviors, retrain patterns of negative self-talk, set healthy boundaries, and treat unresolved trauma. It’s an honor to be a part of your journey and will meet you wherever you are in your healing process with compassion and without judgment.
My journey started as a domestic violence Counselor at a nonprofit organization. To gain experience learning about the depths of mental health, I worked in a co-occurring/dual diagnosis detox ward in a psychiatric hospital. I’m currently working at a 28 day partial hospital program treating a range of mental health struggles including but not limited to: addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation.
