Rachel Slemons MA, lMHCA
Rachel is a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate (LMHCA) in Washington State. My counseling practice stems from the belief that each and every human has value and deserves to be seen and heard, regardless of age, background, or status. Life is meant to be lived fully, but often there are circumstances that get in the way of our ability to engage at the level that we want to. Whether that is a trauma or loss or a major life stressor that has made life seem unbearable, you can receive help and there is hope of moving forward and living life to the fullness of your potential.
I work with individual adults and children employing trauma-informed care on your path to recovery from life’s difficulties. I practice a holistic, strengths-based, and person-centered approach with my clients, working with you toward your individual goals within therapy. Additionally, I practice Lifespan Integration, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents, and aspects of play and art therapy depending on your individual needs and communication style.
I look forward to walking with you on your journey towards health and wellness. Let’s take the first step together today.
