I want to walk alongside you in your story to help you flourish and live a more fulfilled life.

It takes courage to come forward and desire growth and healing from past and present pain, harm, disappointment, betrayal and loss.  My goal is to help you enter into a life where you can experience more freedom and authenticity.  Healing can happen and is attainable even through the most devastating circumstances.

I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is collaborative and together we can work towards an understanding of your story and the challenges that you have experienced to help navigate growth and move forward to a life with more freedom and joy.

I blend Narrative Therapy with CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), while considering personality traits and aiming for a holistic approach to well-being.  My goal is to help you explore alternative narratives that separate you from your problems and help you develop more positive, functional identities while also using CBT techniques to address specific beliefs and behaviors.

I believe in cognitive restructuring and helping clients identify, challenge and change negative thought patterns with more realistic, positive ones.

Understanding personality traits and how they influence a client’s experiences and challenges is something that I find beneficial in the growth and healing process.  Helping clients identify and build upon their strengths and resources is important.

Wholeness and a holistic approach is what I believe is important in the counseling process.

Combining wholeness and a holistic approach helps clients not only address specific problems but also to create more meaningful and fulfilling lives.  It takes courage and vulnerability to enter into counseling and it gives you an opportunity to experience life in a new way where you can experience freedom and joy.

Premarital Counseling: Couples are significantly less likely to get divorced by engaging in premarital counseling before they get married.  The research also shows an increase in marital success and fulfillment.  The goal is to help give you insights and awareness into your own personality and your partner and how they work together. To help form a lifetime of love it is important to gain insight and new skills which can help make your relationship stronger. There are numerous benefits including improved communication, conflict management skills and a deeper understanding of your expectations and values.  I believe premarital counseling helps give you a healthier trajectory of marital satisfaction, lower levels of destructive conflict and higher levels of commitment.

I would love the opportunity to work with you!
