After experiencing the life changing results of nervous system regulation and using the tools of MBSR, yoga, breathwork and manual regulation in my own life I decided I had to share the tools that I had used to heal from chronic stress and anxiety. My role as a nervous system regulation specialist and body-based therapist is to help individuals better understand the wisdom of their bodies, to heal from chronic stress and trauma and to support individuals in finding tools that allow them to feel fully alive.

Sessions with me look different for every person and every body. Body based therapy can look like yoga, Qing Gong, gentle seated movement, mindfulness based stress reduction practices, breathing practices, interoceptive awareness practices and guided meditation. I put a strong emphasis on evidence-based, non-invasive therapies and believe in aiding clients in finding their own unique combination of tools to find adaptive nervous system balance.

I am a registered Yoga Therapist, Yoga Teacher, Meditation Instructor, Breathwork Therapist, MBSR Practitioner, and Clinical Aromatherapist. I studied culinary anthropology and integrative nutrition in college and completed my master's level Yoga Therapy training at the Yoga Therapy Institute in Amsterdam. I have completed continuing education with the Insight Meditation Society, Krishna Peter Perry, Noah Maze, the New York Institute of Aromatic Studies and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.

In my free time you’ll find me teaching cycle and yoga classes, bird watching with my husband or playing music.
