I approach therapy from a client centered perspective. I believe that each person's story is unique and so are the circumstances that have brought them into my office. I work with each client to establish their goals and expectations for our time together to make sure we can meet their unique goals. I enjoy couples and family work because I believe that we are relational beings who are affected most by the relationships closest to us. Whether working with couples or
individuals, the relational work can be the most difficult but is also the most rewarding parts of therapy. When working with clients as individuals or as a group, I am drawn to digging down and building up
the foundations of the desired values and “whys” and from that point determining the future. I hope that whatever your reason for coming in, that you leave with fresh perspectives, and deepened understanding
of yourself, and a renewed sense of purpose.
I work with teens and young adults who are navigating the challenges that can come with parental divorce or separation, including changes in family dynamics, loyalty conflicts, communication struggles, and adjusting to two households.
Outside of the office, I love exploring the Pacific Northwest with my wife, daughter, and our chocolate lab. I love skiing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and camping.
