Brandi Hurd MA, LMFTA
Hi, I am Brandi, an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am committed to providing compassionate, developmentally attuned therapy for children, teens, adults, and families. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that healing occurs within safe, supportive relationships where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow.
My modalities include Child-Centered Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and other systemic family approaches to support clients through challenges such as emotional regulation, anxiety, life transitions, behavioral concerns, communication difficulties, family conflict, and relationship stress. When working with children, I use Child-Centered Play Therapy to create a therapeutic space where children can express themselves naturally, build confidence, process experiences, and develop healthier coping strategies. Through play, children communicate their inner world in the language that feels most accessible to them.
With teens and adults, I offer a strengths-based approach that helps clients identify what is working, clarify goals, and take meaningful steps toward change. I often incorporate Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients recognize their resilience, build on existing strengths, and move toward practical, hopeful solutions. When working with families, I support caregivers, children, and family members in strengthening communication, deepening connection, and creating healthier patterns at home.
I strive to create a warm, respectful, and client-centered atmosphere. I am committed to meeting each person and family where they are, honoring their unique story, culture, strengths, and goals. Whether working with a young child through play, helping a teen navigate change, supporting an adult through personal growth, or guiding a family toward greater understanding, I aim to provide a space where clients feel supported, capable, and connected.
I look forward to walking alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and greater connection.
I love spending time with my family including my toddler, significant other, our cats, and our friends. I would call myself a creative person. I love DIY projects and challenging myself by learning new things!
