Lindsay Deiley MA, LMHCA
Hi, I’m Lindsay! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate. I am passionate about creating beauty out of brokenness. I believe most of our struggles occur in the context of relationships. Often, relationships are the places we experience the most harm and take the most risk, and yet, in them we also find hope, comfort, and redemption. We learn from a very young age how to relate to others, to ourselves, and to the world around us. This is often a survival mechanism that helps us stabilize our family dynamic, receive love, and achieve our goals. But these patterns or mechanisms may no longer serve us.
I specialize in working with people with attachment injuries and survivors of complex trauma and childhood abuse. The work we do together in counseling observes the relational patterns that are connected to your present struggles. This also involves utilizing our relationship as counselor-client in the here-and-now.
Together we work to build safety around you and within yourself. We help you learn to trust yourself, be in touch with your body to know your needs, and shamelessly advocate for yourself. It takes courage to hope for change in your life, to reach out for help, and to be willing to examine yourself with a stranger. I would be honored to walk alongside you!
